NLT
2 Peter 3:1-18

Many people wonder why God seems slow to act or why Jesus has not yet returned. Second Peter 3 addresses this tension directly, reminding us that God does not operate on our timeline. His patience is not passivity or indifference. It is grace in action, giving more people the opportunity to repent and come to Him. Everything in this world is temporary, and knowing that should shape the way we live. The call for every believer is to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, surrender whatever is pulling the heart away from Him, and share His mercy with others. Do not mistake God's patience for His absence. He has not forgotten you.
